What is a Wiki
A wiki is a Hawaiian word for quick (literally 'wiki wiki' ) and is the very name of the shuttle buses at Honolulu airport. The concept of a web wiki is a page or collection of pages created by users/surfers and edited by users/surfers.

Edit / add new pages

Similarly you may be reading a post and decided to give a larger or more detailed explaination of the term, simply edit the text you want to use as you your link by putting it in angle brakets (as explained in the previous paragraph).
